About Mrs. Stutts . . .
My name is Nicole Stutts and I am thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten at Curtis Elementary. I am originally from Long Island, New York, then moved to North Carolina to attend college. I graduated from East Carolina University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2015. I taught Kindergarten for 3 years at Green Elementary School in Raleigh, NC. In 2018, I moved to Texas and got married! I taught 3rd grade for my first year at Curtis, but went back to kindergarten last year. I am thrilled to be teaching kindergarten again this year.
I have 2 puppies named Sushi, who is a sweet, cuddly, wild animal m and Charlie, who is a sweet little teddy bear. I absolutely love to read and recently downloaded the library app onto my phone so now I have unlimited library books at my fingertips! This summer I have read many books including The Silent Patient and The Great Alone- both of which were amazing reads. I hope to infuse my love for reading into each and every one of my students.

Please note: I have Celiac Disease which means I cannot eat any gluten. I always try to tell my students and families because I would hate for you to spend money on something that I cannot eat! The kids are super sweet about it and it's a great way for them to learn about food allergies and food safety.
Feel free to contact me at anytime, but please allow me 24 hours to get back to you. Thank you!
